Nancy Pattarini |
Nancy Pattarini is
CEO of Paige Communications
Group, a marketing communications and public relations consulting firm
headquartered in Utica, New York. Established in 1967, the firm’s client
base consists of business-to-business and consumer accounts serving regional,
national and international markets. Pattarini leads the organization's planning
and business development efforts, and also provides program development and
consulting services to key accounts.
With 30
years of experience both as a practitioner and manager in the communications
field, Pattarini began her career in non-profit public relations with the United
Way. She moved on to spend seven years in corporate communications and sales
support with Mohawk Data Sciences, a worldwide computer manufacturing firm,
before joining the Paige Group in 1986 as director of account services. She was
appointed general manager shortly after and became a partner in the firm in
1990.
Pattarini
holds undergraduate degrees in advertising and public relations, and an M.S. in
Communications Management from Syracuse University. She specializes in issues
management and crisis communications, and has provided planning and counseling
services for economic development initiatives, public utilities projects,
community relations issues related to Indian land claims, and a variety of
organizational issues including mission/vision development and consensus
building related to policies and goals.
Pattarini
has been a guest speaker and conducted seminars for national, state, and
regional organizations including the American Bar Association, the BOCES Media
Technology Association of New York State, and the Issue Management Council. She
also conducts workshops on Mission, Message & Marketing, Identifying Strategic
Publics, Building a Brand Culture, and Corporate Governance/Building Public
Trust. She recently co-authored a scholarly article on interest-based
negotiation, which was published in the prestigious Journal of Communication
Management (Vol.12 No. 1, 2008). |
