IMC Board of Directors

Lisa Rosintoski

Colorado Springs Utilities is one of the largest four-service municipal utilities in the country.  In 2001, Springs Utilities experienced a significant reorganization.  One result of the restructuring was the creation of an Issues Management Department. A first in Springs Utilities history, seven-year veteran Lisa Rosintoski was selected to manage the department, which resides within the Public Affairs Division.

Rosintoski authored the Issues Management strategy and helmed its implementation throughout Springs Utilities' organization. Public participation is at the heart of the strategy. Upon seeing the results of sound public participation efforts on various capital projects, the Springs Utilities Board has embraced the issues management concept, and endorsed its practices as an integral component in achieving success on projects and programs that provide quality and reliable services.

Prior to working with Colorado Springs Utilities, Rosintoski worked in account management for Coastal Field Services, which is now El Paso Natural Gas Company.  Rosintoski has a B.A. in Organizational Communications/Organizational Management from the University of Colorado and an MBA with emphasis in Finance and Accounting. A member of the Issue Management Council since 2002, Rosintoski often speaks locally and regionally on public participation and issues management.
